Finalist in Two Categories at the 2026 Network Cork Businesswoman of the Year Awards

This year, I had the incredible honour of being selected as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at the 2026 Network Cork Businesswoman of the Year Awards — Solo Businesswoman and Networker of the Year.

Although I didn’t take home the award on the night, being named a finalist was already an achievement I’m extremely proud of.

As a business owner, we often work quietly behind the scenes, focused on growth, clients, challenges, and day-to-day responsibilities. Moments like this give you a chance to stop, reflect, and appreciate how far you’ve come. To have my journey, work, and dedication recognised among so many inspiring women in business meant more than words can express.

What made the experience even more special was being surrounded by such talented, ambitious, and supportive women from across Cork. The atmosphere on the night was full of encouragement, positivity, and celebration of women in business, regardless of the final results.

When I first applied, I honestly never expected to become a finalist in both categories. Knowing the level of competition made the recognition even more meaningful. It reminded me that hard work, consistency, passion, and building genuine connections truly matter.

This experience has given me even more motivation moving forward. It has also reinforced how important community, networking, and support are in business. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me along the way — clients, colleagues, friends, family, and the wider business community.

Congratulations again to all the winners and finalists. It was an honour to share the experience with so many inspiring women.

Sometimes, the achievement is not only in winning — it’s in being brave enough to put yourself forward, be recognised, and celebrate how far you’ve already come.
